If you've been keeping up with Justin Jay lately, then you know that his last few releases are a clear departure from his signature underground style, as he's pushed himself out of his comfort zone with his new Justin Jay & Friends side project to fuse dance with elements of rock, jazz, blues, and indie. The first set of tracks, which were released via Black Butter Records, make up the first part of Justin Jay's forthcoming Fantastic Voyage album, and now, he's unveiled two tracks on the second part, which are due out on Freerange Records.
“I See You” and “Indecision” both signal Justin's return to his traditional style, as the dirtybird phenom lays down a groovy four-to-the-floor backbone accented by Josh Taylor's silky smooth vocals. “I See You” is an aural journey into the underground, while “Indecision” is a classic house anthem with clear blues and jazz influences.
