Just released this week is the awesome new EP from British bass producer and DJ Kove. Having spent much of the last year crossing between Europe and the US for shows including EDC and Ultra, he has had time back in the studio – in turn creating “Nightfires Vol.1.”
Spread out over four tracks, up first is “El Camino”, a euphoric dance floor piece of D&B that has more than a hint of electro power about it. “Comin' On Strong” sees a switch into house and features rising talent Kideko, before the cinematic 175BPM “The Silence” takes things up a notch again. Kove closes the collection with “Altus”, an atmospheric, rhythmically strong deep house cut.
