The Chainsmokers Explain How They Produced Their Hit Track ‘Roses’

The Chainsmokers recently sat down with Billboard to discuss how they made their hit single “Roses” featuring the beautiful vocals of the young Rozes.

Alex of The Chainsmokers said that the track only took 8 hours to make, but had originally meant it to be in a different key than it was. When Rozes returned with the track, The Chainsmokers decided to go in a completely different direction.

“Roses” has risen to the top for all of the right reasons despite their infamous track “Selfie.” “Roses” peaked at the number 6 spot on Billboard's Hot 100 earlier this year.
