TMZ has reported an audio clip from the captain of Mad Decent's Boat Party, announcing the Boat Party has been cancelled for the 2015 year.
According to the clip obtained by TMZ, the US Coast Guard has taken over the search and rescue efforts for the woman who jumped overboard from the Norwegian Pearl. Earlier Mad Decent released an official statement which read that “The ship’s crew immediately initiated rescue measures, including deploying three rescue boats and notifying the Coast Guard and other relevant authorities. The search for the guest is ongoing. Both the ship and charter company teams are providing support to the family and all impacted guests during this difficult time.”
The now identified woman, 24-year-old Kaylyn Rose Sommer of Charleston, South Carolina has yet to be found.
