How Electric Paradise Is Becoming the Caribbean’s Most Exciting Festival

It's rare to see a festival that is still in its nascency dominate a space like Electric Paradise, which is coming into its second year, has. There is no festival in Central America and the Caribbean quite like it, as Electric Paradise aims to bring a variety of genres spread across multiple stages set in one of the most jaw-dropping beaches in the world.

On December 19th, Electric Paradise Music Festival will make its return to the shores of Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic bigger and better than ever before. While last year's inaugural festival laid the groundwork for the festival's success, this year promises to truly become a paradise complete with a stand-out lineup, art, technology, food, and design for an all-encompassing festival experience unlike any other in the Caribbean.

If last year's festival was a test run, then for this year, it's full steam ahead for Electric Paradise, as the second running of the festival will nearly double in size with over 20 world-class artists spread across multiple stages on the shores of Punta Cana. Electric Paradise's musical programming does not fall short either, as the phase 1 lineup features headliners like Major Lazer, Skrillex, and Porter Robinson spread amongst underground acts like Nicolas Jaar, Gorgon City, Mathew Jonson and dance music up-and-comers like Cash Cash and Moon Boots.

Electric Paradise not only features a lineup that will rival that of any festival in the world, but it is also rounding out the rest of the nicely on its way to creating a “festival of paradise.” Even though it is only in its second year, it has already claimed the title of the Caribbean's largest music festival, and the potential for growth for Electric Paradise is endless. This is one festival you don't want to miss, and there's no doubt that this year will be a festival for the ages. Tickets to Electric Paradise are available for purchase here.
