Holy cow, Gryffin comes out of no where and drops a future/chill trap rework of Josef Salvat's “Open Season.” Typically, his indie dance remixes have kept me feeling some type of way, and he has really found his own sound over time. This remix of “Open Season” though really demonstrates how Gryffin is so much more of a producer than just nebulous guitar licks and throbbing basslines. He incorporates his own style with recognizable guitar lines, but underlies a hip-hop percussion and bass pattern that will appeal to almost any lover of dance or hip-hop or even pop. Check it out below and give Gryffin some props as this may be one of his best yet.
