Seeking a release out on Ultra Music this week is a brilliant new remix package of Felon’s summery house single “Isla” ft. Kaleem Taylor. The trio, who are now signed exclusively to the dance label, has called upon six different remixes to put a different spin on their track, and the result is a thoroughly enjoyable EP.
With multiple takes on the original shining through here, it’s clear that this is a very worthwhile release for the album. Whilst Babel goes for dreamy qualities, De$ignated opt for something a bit deeper and darker. Daktyl’s version is glitchy and melodic, whilst Kydus takes things tech house, Aevion keeps things dynamic and full of power and No Idols opt for something really dynamic.
