Although I am not a fan of the original at all, I do happen to enjoy the Sailors remix of the latest Maroon 5 “hit” ‘This Summer's Gonna Hurt Like A Motherf****r'. Maroon 5 is probably one of the most talented bands of the 21st century, but in my opinion, they just fell short with their latest “hit” (hence the quotation). It is catchy, but I have always found it to be missing- missing a certain something… I don't know, it is nothing special, only another generic pop 40 summer song, meanwhile the Sailors remix actually has a volume to it! The tropical house duo does not depend on the original's catchy one liner, merely using what the original has to offer with their own unique style.
