On Friday, May 29th, CONTROL at Avalon Hollywood will welcome MAKJ, Daktyl, and Whiiite to the stage to celebrate 6 years of history as a staple in Los Angeles dance music. CONTROL has continuously showcased emerging artists’ talents and helped shape the city’s unique dance music culture.
Whether hosting Skrillex or Porter Robinson, or featuring sets from legends like Jack Beats and Dada Life, CONTROL at Avalon has crafted one of the most thrilling live atmospheres in the country. One of the longest running club brands in America, Avalon has been a fixture in North America’s dance music landscape since opening in Hollywood ten years ago.
In the middle of a worldwide tour, MAKJ will bring his years experience to CONTROL’s stage. With recent releases with Lil Jon and Bassjackers, MAKJ risen to the top of charts and his Revolution Radio show exposes fans to new music every week.
Fresh off the release of his debut album on Mad Decent, the UK native, Daktyl was recently hand-picked by Flosstradamus to remix their track “Rebound” and was featured on the ‘Diplo & Friends’ BBC Radio show. Co-founder and longtime resident, Whiiite will showcase his unique blend of electro house and hip hop beats, which have caught the ears of artists like Skrillex, Chuckie, and Arty. Special guest Mannie Fresh was just added to the lineup so expect a HUGE night!
