Next Wave Records strikes again. The newest single to come out through the rising L.A. based imprint features two artists who have already somewhat blown up, but by the end of the year will basically be house hold names; Bearson and Mark Johns. Bearson is a House oriented producer who molds together a handful of sounds and sub-genres, while Mark Johns is a mind blowing vocalist who has had some major buzz as of late [a huge new Yeezy cover w/ Sweater Beats, constant support from OWSLA, and more] and together these two make musical gold. One outlet named this song ‘post-Tropical House' and I'd have to agree, it sounds like it has a influence from the sub-genre but brings together elements of Pop music and other forms of music.
