Last month we covered the story of Australia's youngest producer, 11 year old Black Summer. Now the prodigious 11 year old is seen DJing his first festival in front of 10,000 people. Over the weekend, Black Summer was brought up on stage by stage host Zan Rowe to let the young Black Summer play on the CDJs between sets at Groovin The Moo.
Triple j’s Zan Rowe told inthemix that the set was arranged in the spur of the moment on the day. “I asked Black Summer if he wanted to jump up and drop a couple of his bangers alongside me in my booth.” “His response? ‘HELL YES’.”
