Last year Crystal Castles' lead vocalist Alice Glass announced that she would be leaving the duo and since then it seemed like the group was on hiatus and/or finished. Luckily enough, earlier today Ethan Kath [the remaining half of CC] released a new original single with a different vocalist featured on the tune who, in my opinon, sounds a hell of a lot like former member Alice Glass. The dark lo-fi sound design is somewhat normal for Crystal Castles, but the steadily thumping House infused influence is something new for them and I'm really liking it. Stream their new single “Frail” below now and stay tuned for some new music by Crystal Castles to surface soon enough.
