Julian Casablancas Has A “Weird” Unreleased Song With Daft Punk

The lead singer of the Strokes, Julian Casablancas, recently talked about his experience with Daft Punk in an interview (see below). The talented singer collaborated with Daft Punk on the single “Instant Crush” off their album Random Access Memories from last year. In an interview, Casablancas mentioned another track he was working on with the French producers that was “weirder.” Here's what he said:

It's cool, weird. It's definitely not one tenth as populicious as “Instant Crush,” but it's just really weird. It's like a song that just goes up. It's like four half-steps up, moving as that on cycle, on repeat. And it's super bizarre. And it sounds like jazz modern weird. It's weirder than any song on the record that I know of.”

The song “Instant Crush” was already pretty strange. Check it out below and watch the official Music Video. First, watch the interview and follow Daft Punk and Julian Casablancas for more (links below).
