As we sat in traffic heading towards San Bernardino, I could feel the excitement grow as we headed home to the NOS Events Center. Although traffic was HORRIBLE on the way there, I was happy our hotel was only about 2 miles from the venue. After we checked into our hotel and got ready, the time finally came! As we pulled up to the NOS Center, I could see the lights and hear the music, and I knew we were FINALLY at Escape All Hallow’s Eve 2014.
Parking and getting in was a lot smoother this time around. The great thing about the NOS Events Center is that it’s grass and concrete, so the dust isn’t a problem like at San Manuel Amphitheater. Plus everything is close, so it makes getting from stage to stage A LOT easier! As soon as we cleared security, we walked in through the main entrance and saw the beautiful pond in front of us.

We immediately headed to the Slaughterhouse stage to catch The Bloody Beetroots. Their set was amazing to say the least. If you checked out my Top 10 Acts To See At Escape All Hallow’s Eve 2014, you’ll know that The Bloody Beetroots were one of the acts I wanted to catch the most! Deciding to roam around, my group and I got separated from each other, which was probably the best thing that could’ve ever happened.
I wandered over to The Chopping Block Stage and randomly met a group of people who came from Canada and traded Kandi with them after dancing and hanging out for a while. We managed to make our way to the front of the stage when 12th Planet came on and killed it! After, I went to go relax on the grass and randomly talked to a few of the people around me and traded kandi with them after offering them water and talking for a bit. It’s amazing how far people came from in order to be at Escape. I met people from Ohio, El Salvador, Texas, Mexico, Canada, and more, just to come together and have an amazing time!

As the night came to a close, it started to rain, but that didn’t stop us. Rain or shine, we were all there to have a wonderful time, and we did! That weekend, I got to see Armin Van Buuren, Steve Angello, Moby, and more. They all played a song I love, whether it was Armin playing Tiesto’s ‘Elements of Life,’ Steve Angello closing out his set with ‘Wasted Love,’ or Moby playing Guru Josh’s ‘Infinity.’ Every DJ was on point with what they played and it was truly a weekend that I’m happy I was able to share with friends and family, some old and some new.

Once again, Insomniac Events has come together to throw one of the greatest events of the year. Escape All Hallow’s Eve has never disappointed and some of the costumes that people came up with showed true creativity and dedication. Halloween has always been my favorite holiday and I can’t imagine a better way to celebrate it! The hard work that Pasquale Rotella and the rest of his team at Insomniac Events have put into Escape and all the other events that they have throughout the year never ceases to amaze the headliners that go. It’s like Pasquale says, we’re the most important headliner and it’s not just a rave or music festival, but a complete experience in a world where we can leave reality at the door and go down the rabbit hole once again.
We can’t begin to describe how excited we are to see how Insomniac Events will amaze us next. Their next big events are White Wonderland at the Anaheim Convention Center and Countdown at the NOS Events Center for New Year’s Eve and rest assured, we’ll keep you updated as more information is released!
