EDM Festival

Something Wicked Preview- Houston, TX

Is festival season ever really over? Not to the one and only Disco Donnie and Night Culture, and certainly not to Houston, Texas because the premiere halloween festival, Something Wicked, will be throwing down on October 25th, and the 26th! It's first time as a two day festival, Something Wicked has seen a MAJOR upgrade in line-up that could catch the eyes of anybody who remotely enjoys electronic music (I.E. you). Last year, Something Wicked brought Tiesto, and Adventure club to headline, and the festival drew in a crowd of 20,000 people which was a 67% increase in attendance from the previous year. Martin Garrix, Dillon Francis, Kaskade, and Bassnectar are this years headliners and if that's not enough to convince you this year will be the real deal, they'll be joined by the likes of Excision, A-Trak, Borgore, Nervo, Madeon, Deorro, Flosstradamus and so many more. Tickets will be shipping out on the 22nd and 23rd of October, and two day general admission tickets are at $149.

Yeah. This line up. $149. I'm sold. The festival will take place at the Sam Houston Racepark. After I got back home from TomorrowWorld, this was the only thing on my mind. This line-up is just bonkers, and I'm expecting to see an explosion in attendance from last year, but not to a point where things get overcrowded. The event is 18+ so, sorry kiddos you're gonna have to sit this one out.  Be sure to grab your tickets while they're still there, and check out Something Wicked's website here for more information about the festival, and like them on facebook here to keep up to date with the newest information, and  a chance to win prizes and ticket upgrades. Only 9 more days (from posted) so get excited folks! The two week forecast says the 25th has a high of 78 and a low of 56, the 26th has a high of 80 and a low of 53, both days are supposed to be bright and sunny. Hope to see you there!
