When you're talking about the ever so popular revival of R&B, also known as “Future R&B” one name in particular comes to mind. This name is Full Crate. Heading the way for all Future R&B artists out there, this Amsterdam producer never fails to take us into a soulful hip hop inspired trance. His style is one many new “future” artists out there strive to emulate. From his collaborations with MNEK to Mar, every track this guy lets out can pretty much be described in one simple term, sexy.
While many producers have tossed around samples from Genwine's classic tune “Pony,” Full Crate succeeds in doing it in the most nonchalant manner. In fact, it's hard to even tell he's using those vocals, unless you really give the song a nice deep listen. The song starts out slow with weird glitchy noises and acapella echoing vocals, slowly but surely reeling you in. Then there's that future Synth and mellow beat that really prepare you for the cruise you're about to go on. And then, off you go on board with those deep synths, heavy hitting beats, and feel good chimes and snaps. But, the appeal of this track is not surprising in the least bit, because Full Crate hasn't released a bad tune yet. We're looking forward to witnessing the evolution of this Future R&B Producer.
