This mix is just so epically weird, you really can't stop listening to it. And, to make it even better, Plaid has offered a Visual Mix to go along with it via “Soundscroller.” This basically lets various youtube videos scroll across the screen as the mix plays. These videos include random art projects, weird faces, trippy geometric visuals, and long landscapes.
Plaid is an IDM music Duo from London consisting of Andy Turner and Ed Handley. Their music is not called IDM for no reason, and if you listen to this mix, you will really be able to understand why. Although their music seems to sound almost too weird to comprehend, as you listen a little deeper you will notice the carefully placed variations of time signatures. As you listen deeper, you will also notice that the samples and various instruments used to create the melodies are also very complex. As you listen deeper, you will ultimately realize how bizarre yet beautiful it really is.
