With the growth of hardstyle and the harder side of electronic dance music in North America, we are bound to see the mainstream taking hold of it. With the recent activity of Q Dance hosting events in Los Angeles, hosting their own stages at TomorrowWorld and Mysteryland, and Insomniacs' Basscon brand, hardstyle has officially bloomed to the bigger crowds in America. Soon, it will be hitting airwaves with hardstyle legend Brennan Heart leading the way. Brennan Heart will be kicking off his We R Hardstyle series starting Friday, July 18th on Sirius XM.
Of course, as expected it won't be a day time radio show. We R Hardstyle will be broadcasted at 3:00 AM EST for the late night listeners to get their fix of the harder side of dance music. Bringing this music to the radio is not just a huge step for the genre itself but also for the fans. A few years ago I never would have thought that the music I love would be easily assessable on Sirius XM, now the day has come. Brennan Heart is proud to say that he will be the first hardstyle artist hosting a show on Sirius XM, so with that I am very interested to see how it goes.
