Electric Island concert + picnic series returns for 2014 with a fresh lineup of summer fun taking place on Centre Island in Toronto. Each of the four dates that have been announced May 19th, July 1st, August 4th and September 1st, will feature international and local talent in an outdoor park side setting overlooking Toronto’s waterfront and skyline. Officially closing each of Toronto’s four summer long weekends, this open air showcase is accessible via the Toronto Island Ferry.
Monday May 19 – Victoria Day, will mark the 2014 debut of the concert and picnic series events. The lineup has been officially announced and features the Godfather of Techno and Cocoon Records label boss Sven Väth, Mano Le Tough and Daniel Avery. They will be accompanied by local talents Jonathan Rosa, Jamie Kidd and Rafwat & Chorniy. With Sven Väth leading the pack of an exceptionally strong opening day lineup, Victoria Day will undoubtedly set the tone for a wicked summer program from the minds behind Electric Island.
