Joel Zimmerman, aka Deadmau5, hinted at plans of a new $11 Million stage setup and a solo tour that would debut it. “It’s going to be a solo show; it’s not going to be at a festival or anything. It will be arena only. And it will be a ‘360' show.” Zimmerman said in a recent interview with inthemix. According to inthemix, the remaining budget has dropped down to $6 Million. “As soon as this (Australia and Asia tour) is done, we’re gonna start working on it, because we already received a little over half the funding, so we can just go. It’s not like you have to pay it all upfront; that’s what fuckin’ bank loans are for,” explains Zimmerman.
There haven't been any any leads to stage setup details at this time. Deadmau5 stated that he's partnering with some pretty impressive companies, but can't give out any information beyond that. Stay tuned for details of the new stage and upcoming tour.
