Google Says YouTube Comments Aren’t Changing, But Are Improving

Ever since releasing the new YouTube comments system, many people are not happy with YouTube's decision and have sent in complaints and angry messages. Google said that it was necessary in order to prevent abuse, trolling and bullying by tying in one's Google+ account with their comments. To no surprise this hasn't been taken well by our generation and there has been an increase in comment spam through ASCII art.

In a new blog post by Google, the site admitted that the new feature had introduced more opportunities for abuse, but now will be rolling out a way to tackle shady links, impersonation attempts and improved ASCII art detection. YouTube said they are going to further improvements for creators including a bulk moderation feature.

What are your thoughts on the new comment system for YouTube?
