The results are in, and DJ Times Magazine and Pioneer DJ have announced Kaskade the winner of this year’s America’s Best DJ competition. This is the second time since 2011 the L.A.- based DJ and producer has snagged the title, making him the first ever to receive the award twice. Diplo placed second in the competition followed by Skrillex in third.
“Words can't do justice to how completely grateful I am to receive this honor for a second time,” said Kaskade in the release. “I am constantly in awe of the love, encouragement and energy I receive from my fan-base, which has continued to inspire and motivate me throughout my career. I feel connected to them in such a real way and their support is something that keeps rocking my world. I couldn't do this without them.”
Kaskade will be honored at the ABDJ Ceremony at the Marquee Nightclub in Las Vegas on October 13 and will be receiving a personalized, gold-plated Pioneer DJM-900nexus mixer for his achievement.
