Deadmau5 Will Partner With Space Invaders For Licensing Agreement

Deadmau5 has always had a love for Space Invaders and now it appears that Deadmau5's lawyers have signed a deal with Square Enix Ltd./TAITO Corporation's lawyers for a licensing agreement. Square Enix is most recognized for their games like Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest, but they are also the sole owners of Space Invaders and Tomb Raider.

Deadmau5 will be creating a lifestyle brand “crossing a myriad of categories launching in the high-end and specialty markets. Expected launch is Winter 2013.”

“”Deadmau5 is the most popular electronic music artist and Space Invaders are the most recognized video game characters. Bringing them together is more than a collaboration, it is a revolution in popular culture,” said Janet Dwoskin, Vice President of Licensing for Live Nation Merchandise.
