Tiesto Will Be Making His Return to Trance
After M.I.K.E. Push tweeted up Tiesto about hanging out at Tomorrowland, Tiesto responded by saying “Let’s make a trance track together soon since my old fans miss it so much!”
There was something that sparked Tiesto’s interest to come back to trance, so what was it? Was it his recent #ThrowbackThursday Instagram photo of him with Armin van Buuren and Ferry Corsten? We may never know, but whatever it was, the Trance Family has something to rejoice about!

It’s worth remembering just how central trance was to Tiesto’s whole career before he moved into the big room and electro house sound most people know him for now. He built his name on it, so a fanbase that grew up on his early trance sets clinging to any hint of a comeback makes total sense. M.I.K.E. Push, for what it’s worth, is trance royalty in his own right, so a collab between the two would’ve been a genuinely big deal for the genre.
It’s not totally clear whether this exact M.I.K.E. Push collab ever made it out into the world, and we’re not going to pretend otherwise. But Tiesto’s pull back toward his trance roots wasn’t a one-time tweet thread that fizzled out. Over a decade later, in November 2025, he made his real full circle return with “Bring Me To Life” featuring FORS, a single he said drew on his PRISMATIC show in Mexico City and marked the first preview of a full album expected in 2026. Tiesto himself put it simply: his connection to dance music had never felt stronger, and the moment felt more authentic than ever.
So even if this specific 2013 tease didn’t turn into the track everyone was hoping for, the Trance Family eventually got their moment. Sometimes these things just take a decade to cook.
