Sources from Camp Bisco, the jam band/electronica hybrid music festival, taking place July 11-13th outside Albany, NY, announced final lineup additions yesterday, as well as festival upgrades. Along with already hyped performers like the Disco Biscuits, and Bassnectar, they have confirmed special guest Zeds Dead, along with Destructo, LTJ Bukem, Samo Sound Boy, and Gravity A. Bisco has also made several upgrades to the festival environment itself. This year they'll be adding a Ferris Wheel, a giant Camp Biscco air bag, huge art installations throughout the festival grounds, daily yoga and hooping workshops, and a Hammock Lounge next to the lake, with a hookah sanctuary and down tempo sets to encourage relaxation. Also Bisco has made several improvements to add convenience to everyone's stay such as a increased number of water refill stations, improved shower stations with mirrors, and recharge stations with outlets to plug in your cellphone. The camp also plans to push a green initiative this year, encouraging campers to recycle their goods as well as help recycle other camp trash in exchange for special prizes and incentives at recycling stands.
With 47 days left to Camp Bisco and the 90+ artist lineup looking better than ever, I'd say get your tickets fast before they sell out.
