Kaskade’s Ultra Music Festival 2013 Entire Set [Free Download]

Kaskade has just blessed us this beautiful Monday morning with a free download and stream of his entire set from Saturday’s Ultra Music Festival. Make sure to download your free copy of his 58 minute set below which includes many different mashups which were never released.

About This Set

This was Kaskade’s mainstage set from the March 16, 2013 night of Ultra Music Festival in Miami, and it’s packed with exactly the kind of live mashup work he was known for, blending his own tracks like “Atmosphere” and “Last Chance” with cuts from Afrojack, Tiesto, Alesso, and a long list of other big names into one continuous, high-energy run. Kaskade had already built a reputation for treating his festival sets almost like DJ productions in their own right, crafting mashups specifically for the live show rather than just playing tracks back to back, and this Ultra set is a great example of that approach at one of the most high-pressure stages he could play.

Why Kaskade Giving This Away Mattered

Free downloads of full festival sets like this one were a big deal for fans who couldn’t make it to Miami, and it reflected how generous Kaskade tended to be with his community compared to some of his peers. It’s also become a nice historical document, 2013 was right around the peak of that mashup-heavy, big-room mainstage sound at Ultra, and this set is a genuinely accurate snapshot of what that era of the festival actually sounded like from the crowd.
