Pandora Radio has announced that it will be getting rid of its free unlimited mobile listening plan and will be limiting less than 4% of its users to 40 hour per month limits. Pandora said that this is due to the costs in operating this platform. Pandora has come out and said that its per-track royalty rates have increased 25% over the last 3 years (9% just this year). Once you've hit your limit you can continue listening on your PC or pay $0.99 to continue the unlimited listening for the remainder of the month.
