Insomniac Shares Hows It Moves Kinetic Cathedral Across The World

Electric Daisy Carnival welcomed a new set of high standards last year when they introduced the Kinetic Cathedral into Las Vegas, Nevada.

The production didn't disappoint as the stage measured 440 feet long which is 6 times longer than the stage used during Pink Floyd's The Wall tour. Just shy of being 100 feet tall, the stage was roughly the size of a 10-floor building.

Since Las Vegas, kineticCATHEDRAL has traveled to EDC Orlando and Mexico and will soon be making its way to EDC New York and the UK.

So how does Insomniac transport this monstrous stage? By scaling it down unfortunately. The newly sized iteration is now 90 feet high and 240 feet wide. Still weighing more than 200 tons, the reshaped stage now features 20 multicolored lasers and massive LED screens.

The stage requires 16 trucks carrying the stage's steel base alone. Additionally it takes two trucks for the video production equipment, four for lighting, five for scenery, two for sound equipment and two more for special effects.
