When you think of NASCAR the first thought that comes to mind certainly isn't dance music. Little did we know, the Indy 500 has been putting on a sideshow for ravers since 2012 called the new ‘Snake Pit'. Before the switch, the old Snake Pit was more known as an all-out party area filled with madness in every direction you turn. The Indy 500 organizers decided to transform the party area to a more controlled environment with scheduled musical performances and alas the Indy 500 Snake Pit for dance fans was born.
This Memorial Day weekend, Turn 3 of the infield will be graced with performances by Kaskade, Steve Aoki, and A-Trok. Past performers have included Diplo, Dillon Francis, Nervo, Afrojack, and Hardwell.
