In 2020, AMAX gained widespread recognition with his hit single “In My Brain” achieving commercial success both in Australia and internationally being supported by industry headliners like Ummet Ozcan. Reaching number #22 in the Beatport Top 100 Electro House Charts. However, AMAX is no stranger to club hits. Over his career as a multi-format Producer he has dominated the Top 100 Beatport Charts with every release charting in their respective genre.
With his continued success growing after each release AMAX launched his own independent record label Yewwie Records, which cemented its own place within the industry as a hybrid label focusing on the latest undiscovered artists in their respective genre of Electro House / Big Room / Psytrance and more and have spotlight to emerging artists to refine their own sound.
In November of 2019 AMAX curated a compilation album of various other Melbourne artists titled Melbourne Syndicate Volume 1 that charted Beatport's most successful Australian album of the year simultaneously charting in the Top 100 charts in multiple genres #1 Bigroom, #7 Minimal, #3 Electro House, #4 Future House. This incredible success saw this independently created album rise to #35 in Beatport’s Top 100 Overall Chart in December 2019, only one month after its initial release.
