Colter Wall is a Canadian singer-songwriter and guitarist. Raised in Saskatchewan, he currently resides in Nashville, Tennessee. Wall began his musical career performing in local clubs and bars, before self-releasing his debut album in 2016. His self-titled album was well-received by critics and led to him being signed by Jack White's Third Man Records. Wall's music has been described as “outlaw country” and “Americana”, with influences from folk, blues, and rockabilly. He has been compared to fellow country artists such as Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, and Townes Van Zandt. In addition to his work as a solo artist, Wall has also collaborated with artists such as Willie Nelson and Kris Kristofferson. He is currently working on his third studio album, which is set to be released in 2019.
