Seven Lions – Where I Won’t Be Found Remixes EP (Dabin,Trivecta,XanGriffin)

Seven Lions has released a remix pack for the Where I Won’t Be Found EP. The pack includes three fantastic remixes by Dabin, Trivecta, and Xan Griffin. Three of the most talented names on the rise in music have each put their own spin on the latest releases from Seven Lions.

First up is Dabin’s remix of Freesol. A mainstay since the Journey tour, Freesol has been a crowd favorite. Dabin, who is currently on the Awake tour with illenium, Said the Sky, and Echos, has done what he is known to do with his remixes, which is knock it knock it out of the park. The Skyler Stonestreet vocals bring the song in over some harmonics that set an etheric tone. The song builds to the drop and Dabin launches into a beautiful piano-driven melody until the guitar takes over to finish off the second half of the drop. Sharp snares stab throughout the break while beautiful strings play. The track closes off in huge fashion with a blistering guitar solo over the expansive backdrop, until the piano carries you out to the sound of a reel to reel that adds a nice touch.

Next up is the remix of Without You My Love. Trivecta transforms the funk-based breakbeat track into a melodic masterpiece. The snares alone tell you right from the jump this one is going to be a banger. With trap snares behind the voices of Rico & Miella the song prepares for the drop. The hard-hitting drumstep drop enters like trumpets announcing the King’s arrival! Sam Dobkin is hands down one of the best producers out there and he is making it known on bigger and bigger stages. You can catch Trivecta supporting select shows for Seven Lions on the Horizon Tour.

Closing out the remix pack is Xan Griffin’s remix of Silent Skies. The rebuilt intro has more of a synth-based bouncier melody that you might find in a Porter Robinson track. Much like the aforementioned remixes the vocals, this time provided by Karra, really seem to shine. The drop explodes into a world of wonderous melody that is created by a producer that is wise far beyond the age of 17. Xan takes the drop from a melodic dubstep to more of a half-step drop with booming kicks. This remix is the first of his three songs slated to release this month alone, that is the kind of powerhouse this kid is.
