Last week, REZZ tweeted out that “if anyone has a problem with me playing (literally) one Bassnectar tune in my tour set, you need to drink a tea and stay calm. Okay everything is fine.” Later on she clarified by saying “It's cause apparently his fans don't like it when other artists play his tunes.”
While this statement doesn't account for all bassheads, REZZ makes a good point that other people are allowed to play other artist's tracks. The Reddit user Deucy said “some bassheads can be such snobs. Lorin drops 10+ different artists tracks every set, but god forbid somebody else drop a Nectar track.”
Earlier this week, Bassnectar responded by saying “Oh girl, I am honored if you play any of my music.”
