It seems that the theme of this new music Friday is that of experimentation. We have heard new genres and production styles from several artists so far, and Alesso has now joined club. Alesso, who is best known for is euphoric, progressive ballads as tried his hand in a pop country production. ‘Let Me Go' is steeped in the style of both The Chainsmokers and Avicii. As much as the first listen was unexpected the track has some really positive elements to it.
While on the nose, ‘Let Me Go' sounds like a rework of several other crossover productions, this release is a bit different. The bouncing up beat melody with a chorus of fantastic vocalists harmonizing on top might just make you a fan of a track you were expecting not to love. Check it out below.
