Even though Burning Man is known to be an outer-body experience, Burning Man still has its flaws.
White Ocean, a large sound camp originally created by Paul Oakenfold was vandalized Wednesday night. Apparently someone cut their electric cords causing food to spoil. In addition to the cut power lines, intruders flooded the camp by releasing 200 gallons of potable water and glued trailers shut.
In response to the events, someone from the organization said “it makes sense that you have been sabotaged as you are a closed camp and not welcoming.”
“We provide one of the most state of the art stages on the playa and feed hundreds of non white ocean burners a day,” someone from White Ocean said. Does this qualify as a non welcoming camp with no contribution to Burning Man?”
Not everyone seems to agree with this though.

“I have no pitty for you guys. As someone who has camped next to you in the past, you have been the most unwelcoming group on the playa. You wall yourselves off. No one knows you- other than the people who put on a big party then return to their cave of luxury. Is that really participation? Or is this party you throw so that you meet the requirements to be placed? Is it for the burners really? For the love of music? Or are we just extras at YOUR party?
I hope you don't come back. If you do I hope you drop your walls and your elitist bull shit. Participate from the heart not from the wallet- or get the fuck out.”
