Insomniac’s Founder Pasquale Rotella Explains Dance Music’s Business

During a CNBC special outlining the business of EDM, CNBC brought in Insomniac Events' founder and CEO, Pasquale Rotella.

During the interview, Pasquale explains the different types of music genres, how dance music has blossomed in the past 5 years due to artists like David Guetta collaborating with Black Eyed Peas and which sponsors typically they work with.

When one of the anchors asked Pasquale if he was rich from dance music, Pasquale awkwardly responded by saying he's happy with what he's doing, “so yes.” “We’re growing every day. Not just in the United States, but we’re growing internationally,” said Pasquale.
Our 20 year anniversary is in 5 weeks in Vegas, and we’re already thinking about the next 10 years. What we’re going to be doing and how we’re going to use technology to enhance the experience – it’s an exciting time for festivals.”
