For those who have been waiting, phase one is OUT! If you have been keeping up with Movement Detroit, they've been teasing fans with hints of who will be in the line up with some hints (did you get them right?).
Movement Festival will return to Hart Plaza this Memorial Day Weekend and it is jampacked with talent. As you can see by the phase 1 line-up, Movement is staying true to its roots in techno and house, while making room for everything from electro, bass, hip-hop, and talented up-and-comers.
The headlining performances will feature techno icon Richie Hawtin, legendary hip-hop icon Snoop Dogg as DJ Snoopadelic , Boys Noize and Skrillex as Dog Blood and 2015 Grammy-nominated duo, Disclosure. Along with Detroit heavy hitters Carl Craig, Stacey Pullen, Griz, Kevin Saunderson, Matthew Dear and upcoming Detroit artists Annie Hall, Ataxia, and Gabi.
Other notable acts include Art Department, Ben UFO, Catz ‘N Dogz, Dixon, Eats Everything, Loco Dice, Marcel Dettmann, Maya Jane Cole, Mano Le Tough, Nina Kraviz, Rout 94, Soul Clap, Tuskegee (Seth Troxler b2b The Martinez Brothers), and this is just phase 1.
