A new report by Beacon Economics was released today stating that Insomniac's Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas generated more than $278 million in just three days for the local economy in 2013. In 3 years though, Insomniac has generated more than $621 million for Clark County, Nevada.
Here's a break down of how money was spent:
- $136.9 million – Attendee Spending
- $25 million – Accommodations
- $45 million – Food and Beverages
- $22.1 million – Transportation
- $19.6 million – Gaming
- $13.1 million – Entertainment
- $11.8 million – Retail Spending
