Before the MTV European Music Awards this past Sunday, Afrojack made a stop at Billboard's offices to talk about Def Jam and his newest track “The Spark.” During Afrojack's interview with Billboard he says “I'm a DJ but I'm also a ridiculously high-grossing musician due to doing productions… I came out of nowhere. Five years ago I was taking the subway and now I fly private jets all over the world.” Afrojack continues to say that it doesn't matter because it's all about “the music and the people.”
Afrojack humbles himself by saying that when people ask how he is so successful he fires back saying that “I’m not successful yet. Richard Branson is successful. Michael Jackson was successful. U2 was successful. I’m just a guy, doing okay. But I’m a happy guy doing okay.” Watch the full 4 minute interview below.
