It appears that the hand-heart that EDM fans know and love may soon be patented by Google. Back in 2011, Google filed for a patent which would own “hand gestures to signify what is important.” One of the hand gestures they stated would be that of the hand-heart.
The patent is believed to be in collaboration with Google Glass and will generate actions based on your hand gestures. For example a ‘hand-heart' may like a photo on Instagram and a thumbs up would like a post on Facebook.
