Just recently MTV revealed that the VMA nominees will be announced via Instagram and Vine Videos. Several EDM artists have been nominated for a a multitude of awards for the 2013 year.
This year Zedd has been nominated for his song with Foxes for “Clarity” on the Artist To Watch section, while Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding's “I Need Your Love” has been voted for the Best Collaboration. A-Trak and Tommy Trash's “Tuna Melt” was nominated for Best Cinematography, while Flying Lotus, Skrillex and Duck Sauce had been nominated for Best Visual Effects.
