The first collaboration between GRAMMY-nominated, chart-topping producer Chris Lake and leading UK Tech House producer Cloonee is here, and it's a BIG ONE.
“NIGHTMARES” opens with the sound of a clock ticking the moments away and a childlike voice bidding “good morning.” But the innocent façade is quickly shattered as the voice reveals its identity: a character from your nightmare who wants to “play.” Fueled by a steady, sizzling beat, big brassy tones and a futuristic blipping melody “Nightmares” is the audio equivalent of a chilling horror film, condensed into less than three minutes.
Cloonee says, “Working with Chris was an absolute honor and a huge milestone in my career that I will look back on fondly. It took us a few attempts to land on this record, but I’m incredibly happy that we did as the final result is amazing. It was also nice for Chris to see how a real producer works in the studio ;)”
