The Chainsmokers have been steadily teasing the release of new music since 2019 kicked off. After a monster year where The Chainsmokers grew with every release, 2019 looks to be even brighter than the landmark years which now lie in the past.
One thing that helped The Chainsmokers redeem themselves in the eyes of critics in 2018 was their genre-bending approach. While Alex and Drew might have fallen short on their pop-infused debut album, Memories: Do Not Open, they refined their style with the absolutely fantastic episodic release in 2018, Sick Boy.
In their latest teaser, it appears that The Chainsmokers will be stepping into the EDM rap world. The guys shared a screenshot of a folder labeled “Juice WRLD Collabs”. Yes, that is plural.
We have to imagine that this collaboration(s) will be something really special. Stayed tuned for release details as they become available.
