Marshmello is known for working outside of his comfort zone. Just like The Chainsmokers before him, Marshmello has taken to many different collaborations to produce tracks which are both fresh and surprising. After releasing his pure EDM LP earlier this year, Joytime II, it seems that Marshmello is once again working in a new genre.
Earlier this week Marshmello tweeted out “Habibiiii” without any explanation. The term is an Arabic word of endearment for another person. While the tweet left many scratching their heads initially, it seems now that Marshmello has explained it with news of an upcoming collaboration with the best selling Middle Eastern artist of all time, Amr Diab.
Marshmello explains the track as more a love story rather than a full out banger. Between Amr Diab's voice, and Marshemmlo's production ability, this one should be a chart-topper in no time.
