The World Cup is right around the corner folks. While America embarrassingly did not make the cut this year, at least some of our musicians will be represented. Turns out that the World Cup anthem will feature none other than Will Smith along with some international superstars. The entire track will be produced by, well who else – Diplo.
Diplo and Will Smith To Be Featured On New World Cup Anthem
Will Smith will not be the lone vocalist on the track. In the international spirit of the competition, Will is expected to be joined by Nicky Jam and Era Istrefi. The latter is one of the largest pop sensations to come out of Iran, while the former is a Reggaeton/Dance Hall sensation.
It seems only natural with the artists on the track that Diplo would be at the helm as producer. His work with hip-hop, pop and dancehall tracks before make him the obvious choice to bring this song together in cohesive harmony.
