Slushii and Marshmello are like two peas in a pod. Marshmello helped Slushii get his start on the national stage, and the artists have worked closely together ever since. Sharing a common manager they have worked and performed side by side countless times before. This week though Slushii began teasing a new collaboration between the two and tonight we were finally able to hear it for the first time.
‘There x2' is about what we have come to expect from a Slushii and Marshmello collaboration. While Slushii has focused more on bass elements in the past, and Marshmello remained more on the lighter side of trap, this collaboration is firmly rooted in future bass. The track is not bad in anyway, but it is entirely expected.
