Rising techno/house producer KLOUD has joined forces with hip-hop artist Wasiu to bring a new charity single “MATTER.” In support of the Black Lives Matter movement, the two music artists have given fans and all listeners alike a song that seeks to motivate others to fight for the cause. The two have willingly used their music platform to address racial inequalities and injustices.
“MATTER” is undoubtedly a bold track that functions as a response to many current events. There are many known references, such as the murder of George Floyd and peaceful protests. Containing a powerful message, KLOUD enhances the track with a heavy-hitting sound that screams for everyone to listen. Wasiu's vocals compliment the track by creating a sense of urgency and seriousness throughout its entirety. The two music makers have surely created something that hasn't been done yet in the dance music scene. Its influential message and its uniqueness give music lovers a reason to listen to it.
