Seven Lions has released his highly sought-after track Only Now, featuring Tyler Graves, on his record label Ophelia Records. In a time when collabs are king Seven Lions has proved his production skills need no assistance. This song is a reminder of just how good Jeff Montalvo is at creating melodic dubstep with amazing trance vibes.
Only Now begins with iconic Seven Lions arpeggio synths combined with Tyler’s angelic voice. The light and airy feel to the track begin to coil up compressing the song only to release in a spectacular explosion of sound. The notes quickly scurry up and then fall down a classic Seven Lions growl as if the song were a game of cosmic shoots and ladders. Only Now was a highlight for me during the Seven Lions Ezoo set in New York last year and I have been anticipating this day ever since. Well, it is finally here; you can listen for yourself below.
