Madeon to Perform at Red Rocks with Chromeo this May
Madeon has officially announced that he will be bringing his Good Faith Show to the popular Colorado venue, Red Rocks. This show is expected to take place on May 29th, 2020. It is not just an ordinary Good Faith show; it is the 7th annual Funk on the Rocks Show. If you missed Madeon during his North American Good Faith tour last winter, then you will have another chance to see him live before the tour comes to an official end.
During this annual show at the rocks, Madeon will be joined by Chromeo and a full band; they are also headliners for this show. In addition, artists such as Yung Bae and Benny Sings will also be performing. This isn’t just your ordinary dance music show. It is definitely a mix of genres, but this will allow attendees to expand their music tastes before they experience Madeon’s show.

The Show Didn’t Happen As Planned
This one’s a casualty of timing. A little over a month after this announcement, the COVID-19 pandemic hit, and Red Rocks Amphitheatre ended up canceling its entire spring and summer 2020 concert calendar, Funk on the Rocks with Chromeo and Madeon included. It’s a bummer, because that pairing sounded like one of the more unique bills of that year’s Red Rocks season, blending Good Faith’s disco-pop sensibilities with Chromeo’s funk pedigree.
Madeon did eventually get back to touring once venues reopened, continuing to build out Good Faith’s live show across future tour runs. Red Rocks has also continued bringing back Funk on the Rocks in the years since, so there’s always a chance this exact pairing gets a second shot at that stage down the road.
