StayLoose & Last Heroes Push Forward on “Won’t Look Back” Featuring Soundr

Inspiring listeners everywhere to push forward in their lives, StayLoose and Last Heroes team up on uplifting single “Won't Look Back,” featuring Soundr.

Boasting over 100 million career streams to date and releases on Dim Mak, Casablanca/Republic Records, Atlantic Records and Trap Nation, Denver producer Ross Ryan, better known by his stage name StayLoose, is an artist dedicated to pushing boundaries and exploring diverse soundscapes. After a series of notable Dim Mak releases in 2018, Ryan spent much of this year rediscovering himself and finding fresh ways to musically express his feelings. In March, Ryan unveiled Lucy Daydream, an indie psych-pop project alongside fellow Denver musician Paige Duché, via a stunning debut album, Awake & Dreaming. Continuing to challenge his creativity, Ryan returned as StayLoose for the latter half of 2019, with renewed energy and a fresh perspective. The result was his sophomore EP, Bad Star, which saw the producer invoke experimental bass sounds, stepping out of his comfort zone to reinvent himself once again.

Collaborating with StayLoose on “Won’t Look Back” is up-and-coming duo Last Heroes. Last Heroes strive to achieve lush, cinematic sounds throughout their productions, citing Hans Zimmer as a prime influence. Since forming in 2016, the duo has been heavily championed by Seven Lions, who has called on them to remix his single “Dreamin’” and his 2019 Above & Beyond collaboration “See The End.” This year also saw the release of their debut EP, Moments, via Seven Lions’ Ophelia record label.
